Do I need prior gardening experience to join?
Our community welcomes gardeners of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experts. We have resources tailored for every stage of your gardening journey.
How does the seed exchange program work?
Members can list seeds they have available and request seeds from others using our plant swap filter our discovery feed. We facilitate local exchanges when possible (use our location filter to find swaps near you), or you can use our mail exchange system for distance swapping.
I live in an apartment with no balcony. Can I still participate?
All urban gardens no matter how small are celebrated. We have extensive resources for indoor gardening, window farms, and connecting members to community garden plots in their area. All you need to turn your small window sill or shelf plant into a thriving bit of indoor greenery
